Kurhaus Bisamberg

The view seems endless: grapevines blend effortlessly into the hilly landscape. The big city on the horizon disappears almost completely in the early morning mist. No traffic noise and no appointments. Me, in silence, surrounded by nature. I move along the slope together with the curved structure. The rammed earth walls, as if carved out of the earth, generate warmth. Again and again, I pass bays and niches. Louder, quieter, louder... Unknown nooks and crannies seduce me, and the light guides me. Warm steam envelops my body. The darkness weakens my eyes and I listen. Small round openings in the ceiling let in light. Like the pipes and cables of the former technical building. The wind blows over the top of the site. Sometimes, at the right angle, it causes the air in the pipes to vibrate, creating soothing sounds.
